These are some of my earlier digital works, so don't be surprised if they are nothing like what you expected after my first post.
Demur
She represents purity and serenity, with the pops of peach and purple on the mostly blue and green background representing spontaneity.
Fleeting Beauty
The idea behind her faded appearance is that all physical beauty is fleeting and fades over time, but the things that really matter, true beauty are reflected in what she wears, the roses and the jewels, represent beauty that forms over time and sometimes it last, as the diamonds.
Tribute to a Soldier
This image was inspired by the song by Nickleback titled "When We Stand Together."
A young soldier set with a garden background and and Angel standing over him, to me this represents what the world should be, but what we have become, the Angel in this case represents a death. But the soldiers still fight for what things should be.

ReplyDeleteThese are very interesting to me, and i would love to know your process of making these, so I could understand more about the technique. The softness is nice, and I like that they all have a dominant tempurature.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the "antique" look behind this artwork. Very cool indeed. The detail in the backgrounds also speak a lot about the thought and time spent on these. I for one love small details in art; makes it more interesting, especially when you can come back and seemingly find something new each time.
